Researchers have consistently found that music instruction not only helps a student’s overall education, but it also improves academic performance. Research further tells us that children who study music tend to have larger vocabularies and have more advanced reading skills than their peers who do not participate in music lessons.

Primary lessons cover concepts such as music as a language, beat and rhythm, orchestral instrument families, and playing instruments (xylophones, metallophones, glockenspiels and hand drums).
